If you are an undergraduate student (or will become one in the fall) who has not yet achieved a professional Swahili proficiency (Advanced on ACTFL scale or Level 1, 1+ on ILR scale), you should consider applying for the Domestic Program. The program is designed alongside students’ majors, allowing students to take some of their core content classes in Swahili.
